Yesterday was a little overcast so my mom and I headed into Bridgehampton to check out the 2013 Hamptons Designer Showhouse. Unfortunately the cloudy skies didn’t produce the best lighting for pictures, but there were a few rooms that were just too good not to share! In typical Showhouse fashion, each space was decorated by a different designer. Here were our favorites:

This room was actually labeled “Rear Bedroom II”, but in my mind it was a little girls bedroom who loved playing with her dolls and riding horses – copious amounts of frivolous imagination is mandatory in my line of work! Image may be NSFW.

At 11,000 sq. ft. there were many more rooms in the house! While most of them were a little over-the-top, I think it’s important to keep an open mind as Showhouses aren’t typically designed for reality. I really enjoyed taking away little notes from various rooms for inspiration!
